Precision Muscle Balancing Technology SM (PMBT) is a unique, therapy for the treatment of musculoskeletal imbalances. These imbalances cause tendonitis, bursitis, (osteo) arthritis, neuritis and other conditions such as scoliosis, hammer toes, and other distortions of the body. The first four problems encompass most of the aches and pains we all suffer from at one time or another. This therapy eliminates the cause of the pain, so the symptoms go away. It also discovers and eliminates what caused the cause so the symptoms stay away. PMBT was developed after many conventional therapies failed to provide relief from the pain of numerous musculoskeletal problems. Since then, it has eliminated the pain and suffering of hundreds of patients who had been told that nothing could be done for them. This therapy works great on sports injuries like rotator cuff strains and equally well on repetitive strain injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome. Weak muscles are akin to a blown circuit-breaker. In essence, they are neurologically "turned off," and can cause posture problems, pain and reduced athletic/physical performance. A good metaphor for balancing the muscles is to use the example of a swinging door with hinges on each side, allowing it to swing in both directions. If one hinge of the door becomes weak, the other hinge will pull tight and the door won't swing back to center. No amount of oiling the tight hinge will get the door swinging again. The weak hinge needs to be fixed or replaced for the door to work properly. Just like that door, each of our movements is governed by two muscles working concurrently. As one tightens, the other relaxes and vice versa. The key to muscle balance is to awaken the weak muscle and get it working again. This is not a massage. It is a wake-up call for the brain to "turn on" the weak muscle(s)
